The location of the hotel was perfect, close to all the great restaurants and attractions, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always going the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The room itself was tastefully decorated and kept clean by the attentive housekeeping staff. the hotel offered organized outings that made our trip even more memorable.
One of the downsides of the hotel was the soundproofing, as we could hear the noise from the neighboring houses. the bathroom's hot water ran out quickly, making it difficult to take a full bath.

The position of the hotel was good. Le Banneton cafe, located within 15 minutes' walk, is a good dining option. We would definitely recommend this place. We really enjoyed staying at villa deux rivieres.
Nothing to fault.

Liked staying in the heart of the city near the river, easily strolling to tourist attractions and local restaurants. the breakfast was delicious, with fresh local fruit and hot coffee to start our romantic days. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our romantic stay more special with their attention to detail.
Disliked having a small balcony that wasn't very usable, and we weren't able to fit twin beds comfortably in our room. the comfortable beds and well-appointed decor made up for the lack of space.

The Location is excellent
There are a lot of stairs. There is no telephone system or means of contacting reception for room service or service of any kind. The design is high class but the facilities do not measure up to its price or how it regards itself. This is not a high class boutique hotel and it is expensive.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were kept spotless. The location was perfect for me, as it was in a quiet residential area near the Nam Khan river. The hotel also offered basic amenities such as a nice balcony and a great bathroom with a powerful shower. Furthermore, the breakfast at the nearby Banneton bakery was excellent.
No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

By far the best hotel we stayed in during our Laos trip. Shower was wonderful, as was location. The breakfasts were superb, but you must make it clear to the staff who have little English (ie scrambled eggs were served with peppers etc) exactly what you want. The owner is very helpful and knowledgable about Laos and other places.
It was the noisiest hotel funnily enough. You could hear other guests quite clearly (and cigarette smoke infiltrated the rooms from corridors presumably as the bedrooms are non-smoking) and the cleaners were very noisy. The staff were very sweet but at times too helpful and breakfast felt a little rushed as they hovered to clear away the minute you appear to have stopped eating. Not bad things as they were trying so hard to please!

The hotel was situated nearby some of the temples and also just across the road from the Nam Khan river.
